If you’re between 8–17 years old, you can become a Buddy volunteer.
As a Buddy, you’ll get to know someone around your age with disabilities and assist them on the ballfield. Some kids may need help at bat or rounding the bases, while others want a new friend for a quick game of Duck, Duck, Goose in the outfield. Expect to give a hug or high five at home plate, cheer on your team, and help us put on a safe and fun game for everyone!
Buddies are the heart and soul of Buddy League.
Join us for a fun Saturday morning at Buddy League and make a difference in our community.
Help us forecast how many Buddies to expect each week. Use our volunteer registration form below to let us know you’re coming.
A volunteer’s parent or legal guardian will need to sign the release form in front of a notary public.
On gameday, bring your completed release form with you. Turn it in at the snack stand.

We must have your original, notarized release on hand at the ballpark before your child can participate.
If you’re sending it early enough, mail it to:
Buddy League, Inc.
3809 Creststone Dr
Garland, TX 75040
If Opening Day is coming up soon, do not mail your form—we may not receive it in time. Instead, arrive 20 minutes before your child’s first game and hand it in at the ballpark. Check your email for your players team assignment and game time.
A notary public is an official who confirms your identity when you sign an important document. They check your ID, watch you sign, and then stamp or sign the form to make it official.
You can find a notary at a bank, shipping store (like UPS), or city office. Some may charge a small fee.
