Review the information below to get your child involved in Buddy League.
Buddy League is a non-profit baseball league for children with special needs, hosting games on Saturday mornings during our spring and fall. Games are played with love in Garland, Texas, on our accessible baseball field at Bradfield Park. Each game lasts about one hour, or two innings.
Since 2002, we’ve modified and adapted our games, field, dugouts, and facilities to support hundreds of players. Contact us if you have any questions about Buddy League or accommodations for your child’s individual needs.
Thanks to our wonderful sponsors, all players participate in Buddy League at no cost to families.
Before your child can participate in Buddy League, you need to:
Register each child you want to participate in Buddy League.
If your child played last Spring, they’re already registered for Fall.
Registration coming soon
Register each child you want to participate in Buddy League.
All players need a new player registration and release to participate.
If you’re new to Buddy League:
Registration closes on March 29th.
Download the latest liability release, then print it out. Fill it out with a notary public.
The 2026 liability release available in January.
Hand in your original, notarized release form at the ballpark, or mail it to us.
To participate in Buddy League, you need to do 3 things once per calendar year:
When Spring player registration is open, everyone will need a new player registration and liability release form.
All players will receive new team assignments and shirts.
Every calendar year, all players need a new liability release—regardless of age or past participation in Buddy League.
Print the latest release form, sign it in the presence of a notary public, and then turn in the original, notarized form.
The liability release covers the current calendar year—Spring and the following Fall season only. New year—new release form.
All players must have a notarized liability release form on file to participate in Buddy League.
Our Board of Directors will finalize teams assignments after player registration ends.
We will email your child’s team assignment and game time to the address you provided at registration.

If Opening Day is coming up soon, do not mail your form—we may not receive it in time. Instead, arrive 20 minutes before your child’s first game and hand it in at the ballpark. Check your email for your players team assignment and game time.
A notary public is an official who confirms your identity when you sign an important document. They check your ID, watch you sign, and then stamp or sign the form to make it official.
You can find a notary at a bank, shipping store (like UPS), or city office. Some may charge a small fee.
