Player registration has ended for Spring 2025

Remember to complete a new liability release for 2025. Your child cannot participate without the original, notarized form on file at the ballpark.

Before you start:

Buddy League is a non-profit baseball league for children with special needs.
New players must be 3-17 years old.
Thanks to our wonderful sponsors, your child will participate in Buddy League at no cost to your family.
Games are played with love on our accessible baseball field, located at Bradfield Park—1220 Castle Dr Garland, Texas 75040.
We must have a completed player registration and the notarized liability release on file.

How to register for Buddy League

For each child you want to register, you need a completed player registration and liability release.

Player registration

Fill out a new player registration. Registration covers Spring and the following Fall season.

Fall player registration will open in late summer.

Registration has ended for Spring 2025.

Registration closes on March 29th.

Liability release

Print and read the latest liability release. In the presence of a notary public, fill out and sign the form. The release only covers the current calendar year.

The 2026 liability release available in January.

Turn in your release form

Your child must have a complete registration and release form on file to participate—no exceptions.

Hand us or mail in your original, notarized release form.

Parent expectations

Arrive 15 minutes before your game. To ensure games run smoothly and on schedule, late arrivals will not bat in the first inning.
At least one parent or guardian must be present the entire game.
Please cheer on and support all players throughout the game.
If possible, let us know if your child will not attend an upcoming game.
Help keep our Buddy League families safe—do not attend Buddy League if you, your child, or another member of your household is sick or has a fever.

Player expectations

We want all players to participate, but will have to remove a player from the game if there are repeated issues with behavior or inappropriate language.
Stay home if your child is sick or has a fever.
